Wound infections remain problematic among similar populations of elderly, debilitated, or health-care associated residents. Infected wounds lead to systemic inflammation and delayed wound healing. Blue Ridge Laboratories has developed a Wound and Skin testing panel that covers a range of the most common skin-based infections.
