Blue Ridge Laboratories offers comprehensive and specialized laboratory solutions specific to Long-Term Care facilities, including Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Independent Living Facilities (ILF), and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC).
Our team remains dedicated to providing open communication and availability, rapid results (often same-day), and comprehensive testing for all our community residents.

Extensive availability
We service all our facilities Monday thru Friday, with STAT service frequently available from 8 am – 5 pm with same-day results.
On-site COVID-19 Testing
We provide scheduled days for on-site COVID-19 testing to alleviate the testing burden on a facility’s nursing staff.
Breadth of Testing
We offer Long-Term Care specific PCR testing for UTI, STI, wound, and respiratory viral panel. These results will be given the next day as opposed to the standard two to three days for culture based results. Further, our Antibiotic Resistance testing coupled with rapid PCR evaluation leads to early diagnosis and effective treatment.
Online Access
Results will be provided electronically and can be viewed via any mobile device or computer, in addition to standard faxing methods.
Technology-focused
We can interface with Long Term Care facility EMRs to deliver results directly to residents’ charts.
Affordable/no-cost testing
Our goal is to reduce or remove the cost to patients that qualify. We also offer very competitive fee schedules for Medicare part A.
Fast Results
All critical information is delivered via phone call within two hours of the test results returning. We will document to whom these results were given as well as provide the results electronically as soon as possible.
